TEMPE — Over 15 years have passed since Arizona State University has implemented a new recycling program, and for Terra Ganem, action needs to be taken now.

Ganem, 19, a Non-Profit Leadership Management sophomore from Apache Junction, Ariz., has taken it upon herself to start the new recycling movement.

Stretched over the 40 years that Giovanna Ostler and her family have operated the restaurant just south of the border in Nogales, that equals enough oil to fill three backyard swimming pools.
